Photographed in the Northern Territory of Australia. It had been feasting on a road kill kangaroo. These birds are larger than bald eagles and can lift kangaroos off the road with a beat of their wings.

I just checked, both Bald Eagles and Wedge Tail Eagles have a wing span of up to 2.3 metres so they are similar in size.
