I love the first image.  I find the second too top heavy - if you cropped out most of that arm, you could still show enclosure.  I find it oppressive the way it is.

Anna--yes, the top is a crop shot, just a different pose but I posted the second to give a sense of her size in relation to her dad and that feeling of being enclosed by adults.

I much prefer the first shot - so soft and gentle. In the second one I find all the blocky bits of grey jacket distracting - maybe a tighter crop?

I was thinking about Anna's island shot and how Doug's had such a different emphasis so thought I'd try something along the same lines.
