Thanks Anna.  The original image and scene did have a kind of painterly feel to it which is why I applied the "oil paint" tool (photoshop) to the lower part of the image.  The little girl in pink just happened to step quickly into the scene as I pressed the shutter - lucky timing as she was moving quickly.

Lovely composition and subject matter. The girl in pink is a plus. Do you put a filter on your photos? This one has a painterly quality.
