I wasn't able to come to the most recent meeting, but if I could have, this is the image I would have selected for the "photos you wonder about" theme. I took hundreds (technically thousands as I made several focus stacks) of images of these mushrooms over a couple of days and couldn't get them how I wanted. This is one of the focus stacking attempts.
