Early crop of Squirrel Food treetop high.
Maturing pine cones in the tree tops getting ready to feed the squirrels. Soon our lawns and pathways will be covered with used outside coverings.

Pine nuts? Though this doesn't look like pine to me--fir or hemlock perhaps? Good squirrel food anyway, nice against that blue.
