Aside from my personal prejudice about otters and their proclivity to poop where I don't want them to, the shot is fabulous. Your timing was perfect, and I expect you have a series of shots with the otter in various depths of the dive. The motion, movement and the water are in perfect sync. Fabulous!

That was the first crop I tried Doug, but felt it needed more of its environment, and the reflection/exiting splash on the left was too nice to give up.

The apron of splash is wonderful, and I don't mind the wider view, mostly because the otter is half reflection and as such, doesn't seem quite so all-important. And I like the red.
