This sea otter allowed me to get pretty close even for my comfort. The fish was so delicious that he or she ignored everything else.

Thanks everyone! Taken by Clover Point park in Victoria.  Yes Jean I probably have 200 photos of this sea otter.  It was just one of those freak moments.  I finished my landscape photo shoot and was already going up the hill to my car when this boy screamed to his grandma "sea otter is eating a fish". I changed my lens to my 300 mm and was thinking for sure he will take off on me but he loved his catch so much that my presents didn't disturb him.  I am glad I did go back because the shots are amazing......didn't need Colton's 500mm. In wildlife photography you can't plan anything "expect the unexpected".
