I agree.  I like the colour version of the photograph.  pretty much as taken here with a little enhancement.  One of the first photographs I made into a photo card and was liked by so many.

This could be another monthly slideshow assignment.  Have the same photo one in B/W & one in colour.

My personal taste:  Color, color, color.

The B&W feels flat in comparison.  The shine of the wet rocks also comes through in the color photos.

I really like it.

A whole different feeling to this and the markings are so much less important than the colours.  They each have their place.
