Was able to get a closer shot here. Don't know why but the birds that stay quite a bit away from shore at Churchill Cove were quite close here. I was still back aways with my long lens, but I always shoot wildlife at 400 because they have a habit of making quick moves that seem to capture better that way. I shoot hummingbirds faster.
