You're right Doug, I focused on the refection of one of the larger trees at f-13 so that the reflections were mostly in focus which left the pond lilies on the surface out of focus. I focused manually until, what I thought, was a pleasing focus point and checked the depth of field with the DOF button.

 

The colour rendition was good also Avril, with the silvers and green, but the B&W won out.

Good choice for b&w, though I imagine the colour was vibrant and interesting, too. Intersecting lines and spots and a pleasing diagonal to set them off.
