This month's theme/challenge is:
Arrangements
Traditionally these images comprise the Still Life genre and arrangements have typically been of flowers and fruit, and foodstuffs like fish and foul: all inanimate objects, whether formerly animate or not. Pottery and pewter are often included (plates, bowls and mugs, and so on). The rendering of light has always been central.
Janet Dwyer in her talk to our club last month superbly demonstrated a modernization of the tradition using images made with her photo-scanner.
What we want from for the upcoming slideshow is your take on still life arrangements, traditional or otherwise, photographed or scanned.
(Note: The subject material should be arranged by you especially for the image; do not 'find' arrangements. Be prepared to say something about what you were aiming at when you made the arrangement.)
