ALTERNATIVE

If you don't have access to a scanner, or just can't get into scanning, consider sending me some ordinary photos of a flat subject, that is, something found or arranged on a plane surface, seen from straight on (not at an angle). The result will look very much like a scan. See Simon's recent post 'Leaf Galaxy', for example.
