Please e-mail to me, email@example.com, before Monday Midnight, 8 August, one or two jpg files in accordance with this month's challenge/theme*. The images should be sized to make good use of our screen (1920x1080 pixels); send full size if in doubt. Extras are welcome, but will be shown only if time permits.
NOTE: Do not 'Reply' to this e-mail. Use the address provided above.
AND: Please be prepared to stand at the meeting, identify yourself, and talk about your slides when they come up.
*This month's theme/challenge is “Post-processing”:
We are inviting everyone to give fresh thought to what they do after they take an image from their camera to their computer, and preferably, how they may have experimented with something they hadn't tried before.
We all use some image-editing software, and no doubt it offers options beyond cropping and fiddling contrast, brightness and colour. How many of these other options have you used? Try a new one.
In the style of last month's "Then and Now" slides, I am suggesting a similar "Before and After" format, two slides to be shown together for discussion. As in, "This is how it came from the camera" and then, "This is what I settled with", with a description of the intermediate, "post-processing" steps you used.
Before (as from camera):
