I did zoom in a little the Grey Whales were all around us and this is the only one to dive deep and show his tail

Great shot Trudy. Lucky to get anything with the rain intimidating your photography. Looks like you were quite close - did you have a telephoto lens? It's simple but you did get that waterfall from his tail!
