I've been wanting to do a photo about this too - there is so much unusual growth happening and up at our place the fruit trees still have all their leaves ... gives me more time to clean up but I still find it unsettling

I think this is a geat shot. I like the tall grass in the foreground ot seems to frame the photo. Love the colours too.

As I was working in Lightroom - I noticed that the overall feel of the shot was unreal and after your comment Doug I realized why - In colour theory, Yellow projects to the front, Red is mid ground and Blue receeds to the background.....in this image everything is reversed so it has the look of a poorly staged image - but for me that oddity just adds to the out of syncness of Fall leaves with Spring blossoms
