Yes, rain caught up to the boats about 40 minutes later. Was quite dramatic, I was told. Maybe next year I have to go as a passenger and photograph the action from the deck.

Funny, that lower left boat is the "chase" boat, but he was sure far back in this shot....as if he were waiting for me to snap the shutter first. So I did!
