Nikon 200-500 @ 380mm, ISO 1000, f/11, 1/40s (handheld!)
Looking at it now, (a few days later) quite a bit oversaturated for my taste, though oddly fitting as a kudos to 'Banana Joe' who does these carvings and seems to enjoy boosted saturation.

Good to hear! I consider myself lucky to have started using it right away, as I imagine it would be difficult to get used to
@Doug, I think I've done a terrible job of explaining it, and misused some terminology.
Most photographers use one of two ways to autofocus; either with the default half-press of the shutter release button, or alternatively using a dedicated AF-ON or reprogrammed AE-L back button, which decouples AF from the shutter. Main benefit of using back-button is you no longer need to move the focus point, as you just frame the subject in the center, lock autofocus, then recompose and shoot away. Apparently the center focus point is the most accurate anyway, so that's a nice bonus.
Lovely colour and focus.
Haha Avril, that's what I was thinking.
@Doug, it's like the inverse of AF-L where you let it go and AF locks. I use AF-C too, though I haven't tried automatic subject tracking with it.
Also If you didn't know- you can reprogram the AE/AF-L button to AF on most DSLRs, decoupling it from the shutter button, which is what I've done with my D750.
He's tickling stump-man.
Yeah he/she sat there for quite awhile and I managed about 50 shots at varying settings, with this being top of the bunch as far as I could tell. I actually only use single point mode, along with back button focusing. I find it convenient to autofocus, then let go and recompose.
