A calm day during a summer spent with the wolves

New here, thank you for having me.

I spent 3 months camped out on the west coast and spent most of my time with the wildlife, wolves for the most part. I got to know 11 adults and 8 pups well enough to have named 9 of the adults and 2 of the pups. Naturally I took a lot of photos.

I can't really call myself much of a photographer, barely knowing the difference between ISO, ASA, F Stop and exposure, but I'm content to let the camera do that for me. I know nothing at all about Photoshop and doubt that I ever will, but by taking enough photos I can usually get at least one good one, good enough for me anyway.

1 or 2 at a time for the next little while I'll post some of my favorites.

Questions will be answered and I welcome advice.

I think I recognize that dead tree and have a photo of an eagle in it! Good west coast capture - on a calm day.
