Oh Doug you are so right, think rolling heads, poisoned wine, debauching to nth degree --- but also wonderful art, architecture and fashion & food..... so it was all done in very good taste...  it is history for sure... Beautiful, Margaret, with the dappled wet look on the windows and those softened colours behind that go so well with the greens of the interior.
