From a natural history point of view, it's interesting that both male and female have their left wing folded on top the same. I wonder if this is the 'norm' with mallards, and maybe other ducks?

He caught the focus and the light on his feathers is great. As well as making me think of synchronized swimmers their tail feathers remind me of pointed ballerinas' feet.
