Tamron 24-70 @ 24mm, ISO 100, f/2.8, 1/250s

Have been suspecting this lens to not be as sharp as it should be for awhile now and this shot added fuel to that flame when zoomed in on the focus point, until I remembered it was shot @ f/2.8, through a UV filter, through a window.. Need more reliable experience with it before assuming I received a "dud". I know it needs somewhat heavy AF fine-tuning (+10'ish) which changes depending on focal length. Hopefully an element isn't out of alignment, and my copy just needs to be stopped down for optimal performance. Research suggests that f/5.6-f/8 cleans things up nicely, so I'll be mindful to try it around there in the future.
