Update on Guild show: 6 guilds

I will send out a signup genius beginning of May for members to sign up for shifts. All members are welcome to sit the show even if you are not showing.

May's meeting will be at the Library to go over sitting instructions, slideshow on pieces in the show + theme slideshow.

Opening night is June 2nd 5-7pm hope you all can come and support the club.

June meeting will be held at Gallery 8 5-7. Members will talk about their pieces in the show. All are welcome to attend. June 7th.

John Cochran did a presentation on photo journalism in the late 70's and early 80's. Very fascinating talk. Also on the early ways for sending photos to newspapers in the 30's - 50's which didn't change much until the digital age. (late 80's)

Pierre put together a slideshow from members photos that was going in the BC/Yukon series presentation that our club hosted on Friday - April 14th, Craig Blacklock - did an excellent talk on his work - photographing Lake Superior and his Light Waves

Jana just posted some flower photography workshops for Victoria in case you know anyone who would be interested.
