Would be nice if more club members would participate in sharing and discussing images. Any ideas on how to get this going?

Sometimes all it takes is a little nudge from a friend. If Bob ( the Prez) hadn't walked me through the steps and given me some encouragement along the way, I probably would not have any images up or be having this discussion. I agree that time is also a factor - time to develop, as well as real time. If someone is really keen on something they find the time, and judging by the great turn outs at our meetings, seems as if folks are keen. So perhaps they just need to be encouraged and shown how.

The best way is to encourage people is on a one-to-one basis. You can do this when you are speaking to them face to face. Just tell them what it means to you to contributing and enjoying the feed-back.

Elehna.....you're right (sorry for misspelling your name earlier in my chat with Simon)......you and Trudy both encouraged me to share my photos......I was very hesitant.....I was extremely impressed by the photos that had been posted and felt imtimidated......The encouragement from the members today has made this a positive experience for me, enough so that I will be able to accept the inevitable critique without giving up photography.......
