1) I ran into Gabrielle (the owner of Gulf island Picture Framing) at the ferry terminal this morning and she told me about her upcoming sale and knowing that Eclectic Visions was around the corner I thought I would let you know about this opportunity.

2) ArtWorld (in Victoria) has moved over to 860 Yeates Street (just down from London Drugs on the opposite side of the road) and they are having ongoing rotating sales working up to a Grand Opening in June or July.

The OPUS Option

A week or so ago I offered to coordinate a 'bulk buy' of Opus Metal Exhibition frames.

So far I have one specific request (Linda Roth) and two inquiries (Sam Lightman, Jen Holmes).

Soon I will post a separate Forum page and set a deadline for placing orders. One should expect at least a 20% reduction on these already-affordable frames, at least in their most useful sizes (16x20, 18x24).

The idea is to get delivery very early in June, if not June 1st.

Thanks for this, Wendy. I normally go the OPUS route for frames and then, not being a very good DYI type, take my work plus frame to someone else to do the matting and fitting.

Gabrielle is an excellent framer.
