Webster's.It says..."of or at a focus"I wanted to express "the point of interest" rather than commenting on what was in focus or not.Maybe "the focal point" expresses both?

I think focal is the wrong word-just looked it up in a dictionary.I meant that my eye was drawn there,and it makes the photo more interesting(for me).

I thought they were squash!The focal point for me is the pinkish light on the little steel escapee on the top cable.Love the colours in this.

It is amazing what can be done with steel - an element that we thin rightly of as rigid - but spun like this it is quite organic.
