Bill Gardam

Kudos to Bill.  He did a wonderful job today of hosting the Cowichan Valley Camera Club on our behalf.

The whole day went smoothly.  Our guests were both pleased and thankful.

Fifteen SS club members are now looking forward to visiting Cowichan Valley in two weeks.

Minutes Aug 8 mtg

Margaret Benmore had a last minute family issue and was not at the meeting.  No real minutes this month.  I am leaving for 10 days early in the AM and am a shity secretary.

Kim Lavender-Kitchen spoke on birth photography.

Curt made a few announcements of club members shows currently on island.  Check out: Fernwood cafe, Embe Bakery and Country Grocer Cafe walls.

Your Photo-art in the new Library

Our library has put out the call for artists and that includes photographers to have their work purchased by and hung in the new library.  This is a competitive opportunity for Salt Springers.  Submissions must be made by September 14 and the final art piece must be ready by Oct. 29.
