Good one Margaret--has your cat been busy?  The light and colour in the background are fabulous and the skull and vertebrae contrast so well with that soft tuft of feather on its back.  Strange and fascinating.

Very interesting work.  I like the shadows of the legs.  I like the mix of feathers and skeleton.  

I might try to soften the light within the skull.  I also like the texture and lighting of the background.
