I like the darkening and the crop - wonder what a slightly lighter enhancement of colour might look like?

Lovely chiaroscuro effect and composition Trudy!
I wonder if a you'd like the effect of even darker shadows (not changing contrast though or the highlights will be pretty intense) for deeper colour in the glass - i'll try to attach a clip from your original)
