  old, antique, broken, derelict, wrecked...\r\nTo avoid repeating our 
 theme of several months ago, namely, \"The Still Living Past\", I sugg
 est we emphasize the derelict and wrecked, things that are not still l
 iving, nor necessarily from the past. Things that are by-products of o
 ur disposable culture, things that are shoddy to begin with, things th
 at have prematurely met with grief.\r\nThings that need to be replaced
  as soon as possible, if possible. Or thrown out or cleaned up. Dilapi
 dated. Had an accident lately? That puddle of oil on the ground might
