Toes lost his battle with failing kidneys and we helped him ease his way from this plane. He is greatly missed but he and Free can take those walks again.

So nice to see them as friends and playmates.  I, too, especially like the centre image which shows them as real companions in life.  It is so sad when a pets time comes as they are truly members of ones family.  Take comfort in that they roam together once again.

Thinking of you Wendy.

The photos keep the memories fresh.

Sorry for your loss

Thanks Avril!  It was so therapeutic to go through all my photos of him and put this together. I got my first digital camera just before Cappy and Toes arrived so I had a wealth - thank heavens - of photos to choose from.

I had the same reaction to the centre walking away.  They were in fact just walking ahead of me as the three of us walked one morning....which in the long run is perhaps more prophetic than one would like to consider :-)

So sorry, Wendy, but I do love all your wonderful memory shots of him--didn't they have a lovely friendship? The shadow is particularly effective but the one that got me is the middle one of them walking away. All our pets walk away too soon.
